The Quarry Golf Club
Designer Keith Foster created a unique layout where the front nine is reminiscent of a British Open links-style course: no trees, deep heather rough along several creeks and lakes and an ever-present breeze to bedevil you. This peaceful setting sets the stage for the bold and rugged back nine that awaits you. Why bold and rugged? Because the entire back nine sprawls across an 88 acre quarry more than 80 years in the making and combines the stunning elements of jagged quarry walls rising 100 feet on three of four boundaries and a beautiful lake challenging the golfer to carry shots over the imposing chasms. Silverhorn Golf Club Come play the best new addition to San Antonio’s upscale daily fee golf courses. Designed by Randy Heckenkemper with input from PGA Tour Pros Scott Verplank and Willie Wood, the 6,922-yard, par 72 layout will entice you to make great shots, but beg you to play each hole as it was designed. The greens are beautifully framed and contoured, making your shots to each green memorable. Expect to use every club in your bag.
